Emily Schmidt is a versatile multi-media artist and recent graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her senior year was marked by the creation of her capstone film where she demonstrated her skills in writing, filming, directing, and editing. She addressed poignant themes related to men's mental health, including orthorexia, and muscle dysmorphia. During a summer internship in 2022, Emily honed her photography expertise while capturing over 20,000 captivating images as a high adventure and nature photographer in the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico. Her work has been featured across various platforms, including Philmont Scout Ranch's social media, photo archive, and the esteemed Scouting Paradise Magazine.

In April, Emily competed in the SATO48 film challenge where she was the editor for her team's project.
